ACVC runs a February - April local club season that welcomes teams from outside of Albemarle County to participate in the tournaments. Learn more about the ACVC Select League and read below if you have an interest in forming your own team and joining us as we host several semi-local tournaments at Horizon’s Edge Sports Campus in Harrisonburg or an Albemarle County High School Gym.

COST:
The cost to participate in the 2027 Select League tournaments is $1250/team. This covers all 5 tournaments.

AGE DIVISIONS:
The 2027 season will include those who fall into these age divisions: 14U, 16U, and 18U as defined in the following chart:

TOURNAMENT COMPOSITION:
Teams will play two matches (best out of 3), work one match, and may or may not have one match 'off'.

OFFICIALS:
Players and coaches are required to officiate (R1 and R2), run scoreboard (flip board), judge lines, and keep scorebooks for one match each tournament. We hire R1 officials from all over Central Virginia, however, if not enough are available, the games must go on!

PRACTICE SPACE/COACHES/GEAR
Teams outside of ACVC are required to secure their own practice space, coaches, and gear. We simply require payment to secure your spot in the tournaments, a roster, Certificate of Insurance, and a Release of Liability signed by all players and coaches. Uniforms must meet the USAV requirements as outlined in section 4.3.3. of the Rulebook.
